The always creative R&R Gallery is again having yet another original art show. I was asked to design the flyer and quickly accepted.
The show will feature ten artists, ten canvases and six hours. Any medium, any substance and any process. Artist will have a 1/2 hour to work on each canvas and one hour to complete the canvas that they started with. The night is to inspire each other by working together and removing ourselves from our elements.
All art will be created the night before.
All art will be burned if not sold. Honestly.

Saturday Dec. 4th, 2010 7p – Midnight
Ongoing the 6th – 12th, from 5 – 9p

I traveled down to the R&R Gallery last night and did a deed despite disapproving mothers… I painted on the walls. Thankfully curators Mark Yamamoto and CW Mihlberger are far from motherly. They wanted an image in their entry way that welcomed their guests. All total it took me 6 hours to complete the meat. Enjoy!

In a city where physical beauty reigns and the internet has publicized the private, I offered an escape – A chance to be a faceless menace in Venice.
What began as 12 grew to 90 trained ninjas ready for action. Men and Women swarmed into Venice for one true night of anonymity. Our plan was unplanned, our path was unpaved, and our power was immeasurable.
Life is short Ninjas… but on this night we live forever!!

This art show was my biggest success yet! Thanks again to all my friends that attended both physically and mentally. Three of my paintings were adopted and went to good homes. Now i’ve got some supply money and it’s back to the drawing board.

I’m having an art show this Thursday, 10/21 at Nikki’s. It’s my second solo show and will be part of the Venice Art Crawl. Several new pieces will be revealed so come out and see what’s been in my brain. I will also have a limited run of tee shirts and pillows for sale.
