I was recently hired by Volley, an Australian shoe company to create an installation for their pop up shop at Fred Segal Santa Monica. I teamed up with two talented LA based artists Mark Yamamoto and Joereal Elliot. Together we conceptualized a black and white collage combining iconic Australian objects we’ve come to love. On the surface of the mural we created a self supporting shoe display. All total the project took us 3 days to complete. Click the picture below and check out the time-lapse video.

I’ve made a couple more toast pieces that are currently hanging at Flake in Venice, CA.
In fact, one of my favorite actors and all around weirdo Pee Wee Herman caught sight of his version and gave me props. It really made my day! You can see his response here and in the below photo.

I just finished another commercial with some great friends involved. I love the process of filming. Such a great feeling to conceptualize a brand new idea and see it through to completion.

Well I’ve said it once and I’ll continue til death, The show was a brilliant success. In my mind the cleanest show that has gone down at R&R. The space looked amazing and the each piece was extremely unique. It was a great project to be involved with. If you didn’t get a chance to make it to the show please check out the links below. Also pictured are my contributions inspired by the “diety like” persona that Willie and Snoop portray in the music industry. You may recall the woman that saw the face of Mary burned into her grilled cheese sandwich. It went on to sell for $28,000 on ebay. My pieces are significantly less expensive.
Check out all the art pieces here.
Purchase the pieces here.
Party Pics here.

I recently collaborated with Lifetime Collective and my Japan Project. Lifetime is a well established brand with worldwide recognition and their reach is far greater than mine. So when they approached me about using my logo I was thrilled. I figure the more awareness we can bring the more money we can raise. All proceeds from the sale of the tees will be donated to the relief effort through the Canadian Red Cross Japan Earthquake/Asia Pacific Tsunami fund. Click on the image below and find out more:
